Peter Joseph Kelly (better known as P.J.)
Roskeen, Newport – peacefully at his home on 4th March 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents Teresa (née McLoughlin) and John, his brother Sean and his sister Mary Hanley.He will be sadly missed by his family, his beloved wife Margaret née O’Grady (formerly of Kinnakellow, Thallabawn, Killadoon, Louisburgh), his sister Teresa Walsh, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

P.J. will repose in Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar, F23 FD90 on Friday, 5th March from 5.30pm until 7.30pm with removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Newport arriving at 8.00pm.
Funeral Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Newport on Saturday, 6th March at 12 noon.
Afterwards P.J. will be laid to rest in Killeen Cemetery, Tiernaur, Newport.
