Eileen Walsh nee Martin Derrycrive, Islandeady, Castlebar and formerly of Lough Erin, Enniskillen, unexpectedly at her home on 23rd April 2026.
Predeceased by her husband Tom Walsh and her daughter Catherine (who died in infancy) and her son Pat, her parents Susan and Patrick, her sisters Mary McManus, Derrylynn , Annie McManus, (Enniskillen), Teresa Hourican (USA) and her brother Peter (UK).
She will be sadly missed by her sons Sean (UK), Tommy (UK), Seamus(UK) Gerry (UK) and Brendan (Derrycrive) and her daughters Susan Flynn (Westport) Mary Jo (Kilfia) and Jackie McTigue (Knockmore), her brother James (UK) and sister Margaret Meehan (USA), her grandchildren Damien, Lisa, Mikey, Chloe, Thomas, Emily, Catherine, Peter, Aoife, Rachel, Eddie and Luke, her great-grandchildren Ariel, Ocean, Oakley and Maverick, sons in law Michael, John and Patrick , daughter in law Sue, her nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours, relatives and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Eileen will repose at Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar F23 FD90 on Monday 27th April from 10.00am with prayers at 11.00am. The funeral will arrive at St Patrick’s Church, Islandeady at 11.45am for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Afterwards Eileen will be laid to rest in Islandeady Cemetery.
