Welshpool, Belcarra, Castlebar, Co. Mayo and formerly of Manchester, England – peacefully at Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar on 30th July 2026, surrounded by his loving family after a brave battle with illness.
Predeceased by his father Pat and nephew Oliver, also grandparents from the Cunningham and Evans families.
Richard will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Adored nephew, cousin, neighbour and friend.
May he rest in peace.
Richard will repose at Belcarra Community Centre, Belcarra, Castlebar on Sunday, 2nd August from 6.00pm with prayers at 8.00pm, followed by private removal to his home.
His funeral will arrive at St. Anne’s Church, Belcarra on Monday, 3rd August at 12.45pm for Funeral Mass at 1.00pm.
Afterwards Richard will be laid to rest beside his beloved dad Pat in Guesdian Cemetery.
