Predeceased by his loving wife Helen (May 2026), his beloved granddaughter Nikita O’Malley (February 2021) parents Anthony and Margaret (née Needham), brothers Thomas , John and infant brother Anthony.
Loving husband of the late Helen (née Creaby) formerly of Leigh, Lancashire U.K and loving father of Margaret O’Malley (Louisburgh), Kathleen O’Malley (Castlebar) and Michael (Holywood Co. Down).
He will be sadly missed and forever loved by his daughters, son, cherished grandchildren Steven, Shona, Jennifer, Rachel, and Vicki and his adored great-grandchildren Archie and Teddy, his sons-in-law Vincentand Noel and daughter-in-law Deirdre, sisters Mary (USA) and Kathleen (Manchester), brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
May he rest in peace.
Michael will repose at Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar F23 FD90 on Sunday 16th August from 6.00pm with prayers at 8.00pm.
The funeral will arrive at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar on Monday 17th at 11.00am for Funeral Mass at 11.30am.
The Funeral Mass can be viewed on www.churchtv.ie/castlebar or it can be listened to in Castlebar on the Castlebar Parish Radio 105.3fm.
Afterwards Michael will be laid to rest in Castlebar New Cemetery, Newport Road, Castlebar with his beloved Helen.
