The death has occurred of Teresa Prendergast, Lightford, Castlebar on 4th September 2026, peacefully at the Mayo Hospice, Castlebar.
Predeceased by her parents Tony and Kathleen (née Irwin), and her brother Geoffrey.
She will be sadly missed and forever loved by her brothers James and Jarlath, her sisters Rita Morgan(Armagh), Kathleen O’Leary (Dublin) and Bridie Thornhill (Bray), her nephews, nieces, cousins, brothers-in-law, relatives and many friends.
May she rest in peace.
Teresa worked for over 30 years in St. Mary’s Hospital, Castlebar where she was held in high regard by her colleagues and all those she met in the course of her work. She made many life long friends during her working life.
Teresa will repose in her home in Lightford F23 HE24 on Monday 7th from 5.00pm to 7.00pm followed by removal to St. Aloysius' Church Breaffy arriving at 7.30pm for reception and prayers.
Funeral Mass on Tuesday 8th at 11.30am. Afterwards Teresa will be laid to rest in Breaffy cemetery.
